This is a founding research charter. It is not a constitution, company constitution, or instrument of legal entity.

## Purpose

Advance rigorous interdisciplinary research into verified conservation and its physical, ecological, engineering, legal, economic, and institutional consequences.

## Principles

1. Evidence before assertion.
2. Physical denomination is separated from contextual or economic value.
3. Propositions are classified (established, derived, proposed, interpretive, unresolved).
4. Methods are stated so that work can be reproduced where possible.
5. Boundaries and assumptions are declared.
6. Open critique is invited.
7. Attribution is required.
8. Conflicts of interest are disclosed.
9. Commercial activity is separated from scholarly conclusions.
10. Unresolved propositions remain labelled unresolved.

## Participation

Collaborators may retain their own institutional affiliations and professional roles. Affiliation with the Collaborative is not a claim of employment by, or endorsement from, those external institutions.

## Authorship

Authorship is contribution-based. Honorary authorship is not used. Recognised contribution roles follow CRediT-style categories. Advice, status, funding, or friendship alone do not confer authorship. Where the authorship threshold is not met, acknowledgement is preferred.

## Independence

Research conclusions are not controlled by related commercial ventures, including implementation, finance, or professional practice entities associated with the programme’s founder.

## Conflicts

Relevant commercial, intellectual-property, or founder interests must be disclosed on publications and, where material, on this site.

## Publication

Prefer preprints, persistent identifiers, version history, and formal peer review where appropriate. Do not imply peer review where none exists.
